My interests have shifted from drawing, to photography. This was not a concious decision; one day my mom found my old Yashica film camera with 3 lenses, and when I picked it up, I was in love again. I'd used that old camera (secondhand from my grandfather) back in high school, and I'd loved it.
The feeling of capturing a moment in time, that no one else can capture in exactly the same way, is exhilirating. I'm proud of myself when I capture a great picture.
I don't use the old Yashica much anymore; it still works flawlessly, but I upgraded to a Canon EOS 650. I also have a Canon Powershot A400, just using it for macro work (and some outdoor photography) until I can upgrade to either a Powershot S2 IS or, if money allows, a digital Rebel.
I photograph mainly nature and my Pullip dolls, with the occasional pet shot thrown in. I rarely photograph people.
I'll slowly work on uploading my pictures here. Stay tuned!
